It all depends on the surgeon. When looking for a surgeon make sure that you look at where they went to school, how many operations have they done, and if they are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Some surgeons may have had the schooling but are not ceritified. When you hear about botched operations it's usually because that person went down to Mexico or didn't do enough research on the surgeon. Plastic surgery is very safe as long as you have the right surgeon.

Is it safe to have facial surgery during pregnancy?

Mostly, I'd say no, but it depends on what kind of facial surgery. You need to talk to you doctor that is giving you your prenatal care and the doctor that will be doing the surgery. I would say it's not safe and to wait until you've had the baby.
