Hospitals charge you for everything with the exception of the air you breath (and they just might consider that one too! LOL) Although the process of taking blood and testing the genetics as to who the father is, it's still an expensive test and here in Canada it's approx $1200 for that test to be done. Prices may vary. If you have a family doctor talk to him/her and see what your alternatives are. Good luck Marcy

A woman does not have to get a paternity test while she is pregnant; it can wait until after the baby is born. However, there are non-invasive prenatal paternity tests available during pregnancy that can determine paternity with a blood sample from the mother and a cheek swab from the potential father. These tests are optional and not required, as traditional paternity tests can be performed after the child is born. Ultimately, the decision depends on the individuals involved and their specific circumstances.
It's safest to have it done after the baby is born. When you are pregnant, an amniocentesis has to be done and there is a possibility of miscarriage. It's not worth the risk, better to wait until the baby is born.
Her paternal grandparents were granted custody. His love of all children is completely paternal.
You can have a simple swab test done on the baby and the potential father(s). They do it on the inside of the mouth so no blood test is needed. Speak to your doctor or tell them at the hospital before you go home (if the father is there). If he refuses you can get a court order for a test to be taken.
On the day you give birth == == You can perform a paternity test while your still carrying the baby. But this test does carry a risk of miscarriage so I would wait until the baby is born then do the test.
Yes Billie Piper's baby was born in the Portland Hospital in London.
This depends on the hospital and their markup over what they are paying to have it done. Hospitals do not generally have DNA labs, due to costs, but rather contract out the service. Going to the DNA clinic directly, and if you are looking for a court admissible test, runs around $400. Hospitals will mark that up 200-300%.In January, a Bill is being introduced in Tennessee the require paternity testing in all new births, which than may than reduce the cost.
Yes but it's risky for the pregnancy. Prenatal testing involves risk and is discouraged for the sole reason of determining paternity because of an increased risk of miscarriage.
The royal baby was born at St Mary's Hospital.
I'm assuming that your referring to a paternity test. A paternity test is a DNA test used to find out the father of a child. It is possible but you must discuss it with your doctor. However, if you were referring to checking your DNA, then it is entirely possible and safe to do while you are pregnant.
no. it doesnt. it might take a little longer at the house but you can see the baby being born. at the hospital you stare at the building until she (or he O.o) has had the baby
