It is called a defibrillator.
When a doctor sends a patient for lab work to be done they won't usually screen for HIV unless there is a reason to and the patient has requested it.
To be respect his doctor, and to trust he knows best.
Ethics is always present in a hospital. Some things you may consider unethical is a DNR, in which if the patient goes into cardiac arrest or a condition like that, doctors cannot under any circumstances revive the patient, and must allow them to die. Another, is that if a patient is infected with the blood of another patient (for whatever reason) who, say, has HIV. The patient, or even nurse or doctor, must not be aware they have been infected. This is technically leaking patient information out, and is forbidden/ illegal. Ethics is a wide spectrum, and these are just a few examples of possibly unethical behavior that is "legal."
If you mean cool things about being a doctor; You have to swear an oath of secrecy regarding patient 'problems' and illnesses.
There are many things that a doctor will do for a patient. A doctor may write prescriptions, do exams, run, tests, and preform surgery. The type of activity that a doctor will preform will depend on the specialty of the doctor.
In an Entity-Relationship Diagram for a patient information system, you may have entities like Patient, Doctor, Appointment, Prescription, and Medical Record. The relationships between these entities could include a Patient having many Appointments, a Doctor treating many Patients, and a Prescription being linked to a specific Patient. Attributes for each entity would include things like patient ID, doctor ID, appointment date, prescription details, and diagnosis information.
One challenge about being a doctor is the fact that you can't help everyone. You have to make sure you provide the best treatment for each patient, which is sometimes beyond your control.
When a person is malnourished, a doctor will give the patient a specialized diet. Some things to eat are bread, rice, vegetables, fruits, and milk.
To revive someone, you can either do 3 things 1. Go to the temple in Drebinheim, or the Monastery in Gokoda 2. Use any potion that revives 3. Have a Healer who knows revive, to get that your Healer needs 15 in Compassion, 15 in Heal, and 5 in Regeneration to get a low level revive spell
First your friend needs to be seen by a doctor as there may be many reasons why they may be depressed. Only the doctor can decide what is best for the patient as they would have taken into consideration their entire health history.
The equipment needed for a pap smear is the patient drape, speculum, warm water, and the pap collection device.
If you are this doctor's patient by the "Medical Code of Ethics" he could lose his license if he dates a patient. If you aren't his patient then there is no reason he can't ask you out on a date. If you aren't his patient and you strongly feel he's interested in you ask him out for drinks. Good luckMarcy This is more of an add-on question than an answer. Could someone expand on the above answer? Why would the doctor have to lose his medical license, if the patient is being treated for something non threatening. Would it be OK if the patient is OK with the relationship? Is there anyway to move such a relationship in a way that would be OK to date or have a personal relationship. There has to be some way for it to be OK, in situations where the patient is not vulnerable. Ideas or thought? you should get another doctor if you think you could have something with your current doctor. When the doctors actually become doctors they have to swear by the code of ethics, it keeps the creepy doctors from asking out everyone and keeps things professional, like most people like it to be with doctors.
