though this wouldn't exactly be considered an 'answer'. i just wanted to say that oddly enough, i was on the internet looking for a possible reason for my uncontrollable crying fits. i find myself sobbing for hours sometimes and just as i calm down, its starts again. the thing is, it started around the time i started taking wellbutrin.

...Me too. I have found that even a very small dose of wellbutrin can cause me to sob unrelentingly. I am not sure if this is just entirely chemical. I think it is putting me more in touch with my feelings, which have been numbed out for several years. In this way, I'm not sure that these crying episodes are all bad. I am inclined to think that it is bringing to the surface grief that I have suppressed for a long time, which may be the first step to relieving my depression. However, this may be completely off base--It's just a gut feeling. Afterall, depression is often caused by past trauma...
