First, I want it to be clear I am not a doctor or pharmacist, just a person with knowledge of medications. My research regarding your question is from information in the related link, with basic understanding of their meaning.

With that said, my research has indicated that Amoxicillin can either come on its own or in conjunction with Clavulanate, or something called Ticarcillin. But I can't find Clavulanate as a medication on its own. Therefore, you likely have a prescription of a combination of Amoxicillin/Clavunalate.

My preliminary research has shown that these two medications, the Amoxicillin/Clavunalate combo PLUS the Doxycycline mayinterfere with each other, particularly the Doxycyline may prevent the Amoxicillin (a variation of Penicillin) from working.

Another important fact, if you're a female, that I noted is "Concurrent use of tetracycline [Doxycycline is classified as the drug type "tetracyclines"] may render oral contraceptives ["Birth Control pills"] less effective."

If you're female, taking birth control pills and are taking Doxycycline, you should be aware of the increased risk of pregnancy despite being on "birth control" pills.

With all of this said, this should be enough of a concern for you to speak directly to your doctor or pharmacist. Myself I much prefer, and it's much more comfortable, to call my pharmacy and ask them "is it ok to take this and this". They don't even really need to know your name and it doesn't even have to be the pharmacy you normally deal with.

You can call any pharmacy and ask them "I'm on these medications now and was prescribed X and Y. Are there any interactions or concerns?". If you're only on a couple medications they can tell you on the spot. If you're on several medications, they'll probably input that information into their system which immediately alerts them of possible interactions.

Just to put this in some perspective, I myself saw a surgeon not too long ago and his student assistant, and I disclosed all of my current medications and dosages to them. They prescribed me a medication, and I informed them I was prescribed this before, but my pharmacy warned me that there is a very serious interaction with some medication I'm on. The student consulted the surgeon, and they saw no interaction.

When I went to the pharmacy, they refused to give me that medication, stating there's a very severe interaction with one or some of my medications and they had to contact the surgeon for a different prescription.

What I'm saying is, your pharmacy, or any pharmacy, is the BEST place to find out exactly what drug interactions may occur when you mix X and Y. In my case, my pharmacy saved me from a serious drug interaction prescribed by a surgeon.

Call your pharmacy. Tell them every medication you're on and any vitamins/supplements you're taking. They're the absolute experts on telling whether you it's ok to combine X, Y and Z or not.
