I take Excedrin Tension headache (500-1000mg) without aspirin, it has caffeine in it a carrier so it goes right to the brain. I at times take it with Oxycontin 10-20 mg SR (12hr.) it does cause me to get sleepy and maybe a little dizzy but it attacks the pain better. I have had no effects of any kind other than sleepiness but would suggest that you stay up and not lay down until you are sure your breathing is not affected as all drugs affect people different. I only do this when the headaches are so bad the Oxycontin will not work without it. The pharmacists say it is then the same as Perocet but not with me as Perocet causes me to get terrible after affects headaches. As with anything ask your doctor mind says if it works do it but be careful as to the amount of Acetaminophen a day you take not to exceed 4000mgs.
