You can, but they can interact with the same enzyme in the liver, so typically, we will start the Strattera at a lower dose than someone who is not on Zoloft (or any of the other SSRIs).

Actually, it is sometimes necessary to combine antidepressant (sometimes up to 3-4 "humor" regulator) to get a result. Most of the time, 1 antidepressant is necessary to get the objective (it takes 2-3 weeks for an appreciable effect). However, when you need to use another antidepressant, you might use another antidepressant "category", depending on the concerned neurotransmitter(s).

Sometimes, Wellbutrin can also be added for a different reason. In fact, you can add Wellbutrin to reverse some side effects (sexual side effects such as decreased libido, impotence, weight gain).

As a conclusion, there is no problem in taking Zoloft and Wellbutrin, but you might see more "cholinergic side effects" such as dry mouth, constipation, drowness, and dizziness.
