The LD50 (dose at which 50% of test subjects are killed by the high dosage) of MSM is greater than 17.5 grams per kilogram of body weight. Most dosages are something like 1-1.5 g several times a day. Notice it say GREATER than; also MSM is used for many things.. (not fda approved for any of course as it is a supplement and not fda approved) but I use it for severe stomach pain and how it "works" is by reducing the amount of pain signals send to your brain and also I believe has some anti-inflammatory action that can further help with pain and other conditions.
My biggest caution is you get more "bang for your buck" out of a normal dose if you mix them so please be safe. I am NOT a Dr. but if it were ME, I would take half my normal hydrocodone dose and my normal MSM dose. You can always take more, but you can't really "untake" stuff (besides almost immediately vomiting). Anyway that's just what I would do, but NOTHING beats research you do yourself and ALWAYS check sources! Blogs are not a good spot to learn about serious drug interactions. Like I said I am not a Dr. so technically this is just "some guy" answering a medication question, just like you'd find in a forum
I've taken them both before at the same time. I was fine after it.
No it is unsafe
No
yes, there's no interactions
Yes. There is no problem with taking it then. By that time the delsym will have started to ware off
Check with your pharmacist.
yes
Yeah there is no law telling you that you can't so techinically you can. But if you want to know the correct response you should ask a doctor not the lunies on wikianswers.
No, Sam Elliott's son is not in the Delsym commercial. The actor featured in the Delsym commercial is not related to Sam Elliott.
how many days does it take for hydrocodone to leave the body?
Hydrocodone is an extract of codeine, so they are the same. You just have to take more hydrocodone
No
