If your doctor has not prescribed Elavil along with Lamictal then you should not take it. If your doctor has prescribed it then it will be alright. Whenever in doubt about two different medications (if you should be seeing more than one doctor) then phone your pharmacist and they have the knowledge to let you know what medications will interact with another.
