If your doctor has prescribed both and knows you are taking them, yes. Just remember that phentermine is addictive, so take it exactly as the doctor said to and don't take extra. Effexor makes most people slightly sleepy, so the phentermine might counteract that side effect and make you wired up. You might have some trouble sleeping on phentermine.

Because Vyvanse is a medication that works the same day you take it I have gone through periods where I stopped. And I always ended up gaining weight. Not sure if the Vyvanse raised my metabolism, cut the hunger or I just had more will power on it. Likely a bit of all three.
