Yes, you absolutely do build up a tolerance to this medication. It's very unforuntate too, since the medication can be a life changing experience in the beginning, plus it's not an amphetamine!
Towards my 6 month of taking Strattera I switched because I was having vivid nightmares and sleeping for hours. I would wake up terrified, sweating on every inch of my body. It wasn't the nightmares that caused the sweating though, it was just the medication, every night was like that for me.
When I would miss a dose, I would get terrible headaches that would last sometimes 15 hours or more. Even 500 m.g. aspirin would not relieve the pain.
So now I am trying something new...wish me luck!

I'm a 38 yr. old female, just diagnosed with ADHD 6 weeks ago. I Started off at 25mg. The first few days it felt like a miracle was taking place. I was focused, calm and happy. Slept better than ever and woke up early and refreshed. The only problem was a total absence of appetite. I moved up to 40mg on the 7th day and enjoyed that for a week (appetite returned) until it felt like it stopped working. My Doc upped me to 65 mg. and it felt like it only worked for two more days. I'm at 80 mg now (probably the max for my body weight) and it doesn't feel like its working much now. I'm a college student and can't focus or remember my studies, just like before Stratterra. My short term memory is still slightly improved, but that's it. I'll call my Doc soon to see what's next. Now that I have a small taste of what it's like to not be ADHD I am determined to find something that works for me.
Yes.
Yes. Tolerance is built up rather quickly.
Not totally, but you can build up a tolerance to it.

This question isn't quite detailed enough for me to come up with a good answer, but if you're asking if people can build tolerance to adderall the answer is yes, very much so. Almost all prescribed people who take it regularly, AD/HD or not, build some tolerance to it. This isn't to say that everyone becomes addicted to it because addiction and tolerance are not the same thing. If you're careful in your tapering process and never use more than a doctor prescribed AND you're fully honest with your doctor, you'll probably build a slow tolerance but be able to avoid addiction.
Individual tolerance to cannabis can increase over time, causing the effects to diminish. This is known as tolerance build-up, and it may result in needing higher doses to achieve the same high. Taking a break from using cannabis, known as a tolerance break, can help reset your tolerance levels and allow you to feel the effects again.
Somewhat, but they can't build up a tolerance that protects them from the damage of intense noise.
Adipex is a brand of Phentermine. It is possible, and in fact almost inevitable,Êfor the body to develop a tolerance to it, but there are treatments that can help Phentermine become effective again.
