Norco, is hydrocodone with 325mg of Tylenol (Acetaminophen). The CDL test or DOT( Dept. of Transportation) test urine for opiates among other things. If you do not have a prescription for hydrocodone, you will be flagged. I would recommend you do not take any urine test for a period of at least 5 days after your last dose of Hydrocodone. At that point, you should be clean.

Will Vyvanse show up on DOT's CDL drug test?

Yes, Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) can show up on the Department of Transportation's (DOT) CDL drug test, as it is an amphetamine. DOT drug screenings typically test for amphetamines, and since Vyvanse is related to this class of drugs, it may lead to a positive result. However, if you have a valid prescription for Vyvanse, it’s important to inform the testing agency and your employer to avoid any issues with compliance.

Does a DOT sanctioned employer access a direct DOT database regarding prior drug test results or is that something they can only get from a previous employer with your permission?

Part 40.331(g) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations requires positive drug test results to be reported to the state CDL-issuing authority, which reports them to the Department of Transportation. Any follow-on employer can--and better--access your driving record, which includes drug test results. Basically, if you have a CDL you do NOT do drugs. It will come back to haunt you.
