can you get pergnent if you took birth control pills only twice last month then had your period but had unprotected sex after your period will you get your period the next month??
hi.... in my case i took the norlevo pill twice in a month. the second time i took was one week after i took the first one. Then i had my period the day after ( that is on 17th april ) but i felt wierd this time becoz in my period i normally have bleeding for three- four days but at that time i had my bleeding for only two days. today is 18th of May and i still have not had my period. is it the side effect? or am i pregnant. i am really rellay scared to death. when i took the pills i made sure to take within 10 hours. but i am not sure if the pill worked because i took it twice in a month.??
Your menstrual cycle basically reset after you took the Plan B. Wait a month from your last period, not from your normal cycle.
Is this your first month on the pills? If so and you had sex, maybe. If this isn't your first month and you took your pills everyday you should be ok. Stress, and other factors will cause a delay in a period starting.
If you took your birth control pills late, it is very likely that your cycle will be disrupted, however, I would still be aware of my body and do a pregnancy test.
I suggest no.I got my period and I took 2 diet pills in the morning.they gave me he WORST stomach ache ever!!and I usually don't get cramps during my period so it must be the pills
Unfortunately, birth control pills can make your period VERY irregular. It has taken me about four or five different brands of pills to find the right one for me. While taking YAZ, it took my period over six months to regulate. Watch for any changes in this pill (mood changes, pms, sickness, etc.) and if you notice anything negative, talk to your doctor and ask to switch brands again until you find the right one for you. I switched from Yaz to Loesterin 24 and it took my period only about two to three months to regulate.
Not if you took your pills as directed.
If it's your first month of pills, you need to use a backup method of contraception for the next seven days. If it's not your first cycle, and you took the pills as scheduled and have not extended the pill-free or placebo week, there is no extra risk of pregnancy.
If you took the pills correctly in the prior month, you are still protected during the 7-day "off week" from the pills, and Plan B isn't warranted.
If this is your first month on birth control and you have not missed any pills, then see your Doctor. If you have missed pills or took too many pills, then this is why your period hasn't arrived. A period not arriving during the first month of birth control is not uncommon and can be due to your body becomming used to the medication or pregnancy. If you had unprotected intercourse during the first month of taking birth control then I would recommend you perform a pregnancy test.
you should have taken 2 pills on Thursday and 2 pills on Friday. i would suggest a back up method of birth control for a month. talk to your pharmacist or MD
