Since Darvocet has Tylenol in it, you cannot take them within 4 hours of each other. Try alternating Darvocet with ibuprofen - take the ibuprofen every 6 to 8 hours, and if you need Darvocet, take it at least 3 hours after the ibuprofen. That way, you won't get too much Tylenol, but it will relieve your pain better.
you probably shouldn't because they both have Tylenol and you should take only so much of Tylenol you could mess up your liver.
I am having a elbow replacement. can I take celebrex and Tylenol before surgery<
You should definitely LIMIT YOUR INTAKE OF ALCOHOL WHILE TAKING DARVOCET. Combining Darvocet (propoxyphene) with alcohol or other drugs that cause drowsiness will increase the sedative effects and can be dangerous. For more info: http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/propoxnap_pi.htm
You need to check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking them together. Also, it depends on what kind of muscle relaxer. Working in a pharmacy, I see a lot of Vicodins prescribed with Flexeril but not Darvocet and Flexeril. Be sure not to drink any alcohol (even cough syrup that contains it) because it might increase the effectiveness of the medication. And be sure not to take any extra Tylenol since it is already in the Darvocet. You can take Ibuprofen if needed.
If you don't die, you get even more stupid than you were before you took it.
Tylenol shouldn't interfere with the Prozac, on a count that it is a fairly small dosage. But, if you experience nausea or dizziness you should stop taking the Tylenol immediately and contact your doctor.
No reason, as far as I know, except that Tylenol is bad for your liver in high doses. Be very careful about taking high doses of Tylenol. In people that taking more than the recommended dosage, it has contributed to a lot of liver disease over the years.
There should be no problem taking these to medications in close temporal proximity, as there is no significant interactions between aspirin and tylenol.
It's not healthy you should be taking Tylenol
Ambien works on the benzodiazapine receptors, leading to sedation. Darvocet is a combination of propoxyphene (a very weak opioid) and acetaminophen (tylenol). Although caution is advised when taking Ambien and an opioid, since propoxyphene is so weak, it should not be a problem. Just watch for respiratory depression.
Yes, remeron can be taken with Tylenol. If it is Tylenol mixed with codeine, check with your doctor before taking it.
Tylenol 3 contains acetaminophen and codeine. No cocaine. Therefore, you won't test positive for cocaine after taking Tylenol.
