NO you do not have to pass the 7th grade task. but you need to pass all of your classes in order to move on. at the end of the year your grades will be averaged and if you fail TWO you will go to summer school and retake the task and if you fail it that time you will repeat the 7th grade.
No
You don't move to Florida.
Yes your parents have the ultimate decision whether you pass grade 4 and move into grade 5.
If you fail the STAAR tests, you will not proceed to the next grade.
Because school is not a series of unrelated courses. Each grade builds on the last. If you didn't learn second grade math, the odds that you will do acceptably in third grade math are minimal. You need to repeat the lower grade and learn that before you can move on and hope to succeed.
It is not ideal to fail a grade, as it may impact your academic progress and self-esteem. However, it is important to remember that everyone struggles at times and that failure can be a learning experience. It is important to seek help and support to improve and move forward.
Passing 7th grade typically requires passing all core subjects. Failing an elective may impact your overall GPA but should not prevent you from moving on to the next grade as long as you pass your core subjects. It's best to check with your school's policies to understand specific requirements.
I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Do you mean that your son failed some eighth grade classes, but you want him to move on to grade nine, anyways? Well, I suggest talking to the principal directly. Call the school and request to speak with him/her, whether it's on the phone or in person. He/she should then be able to explain what you have to do in order to let your son move on to the next grade.
It is not like elementary where you can have bad grades and still move on you HAVE to have good grades or you fail and if you have f's and want to do a sport you can't you HAVE to keep your grades up!
