Yes. The depo is not like oral contraceptives, and it is VERY unlikely that antibiotics will change the effectiveness of it, but it would probably be a good idea to use condoms for a couple of weeks while you're taking them just to be on the safe side.
I would call the doctor to be sure. But as far as what I have heard, it does still work. A lot of people i know get weird cycles BECAUSE of the depo shot
There's a range of time to get your next injection in order to have continuous protection from depo provera . If you get the next injection later than this range, you could get pregnant.
depo is injected into the muscle, it tricks the body into thinking you are pregnant this is why your period is stopped. you do not ovulate at all.
No, Depo-Provera doesn't becomes less effective if you're on it longer. Each injection is equally effective.
umm my gf is on the depo shot and it is supposed to work better than the pills and some times she still has her period. and i have heard that some people dont have it at all. so i guess it all just depends
Of course you can! It doesn't always work.
If you use the depo shot correctly it will work automatically what I mean by correctly is getting the shot during your cycle I would suggest getting the shot during the first day of your period :)
Yes, I'm a bus driver and have been taking Effexor for over a year and do fine.
More than likely it will still be effective. To be sure, get re-tested.
Yes, Naprosyn should not effect your BCPs.
Yes,it doesn't matter how much you drink.
Well the depo can be in your system up to a year once stopped taking it. Although no bc is 100% effective and there's always a chance of getting pregnant. Most people have a hard time getting pregnant after the shot. You should check with your doctor tho and if not planning to get pregnant get another shot or another form of bc.
