Yes, 40mg of Strattera is a lot to start out with because you're body may not be able to handle that big of a dosage. I'm no doctor, but I've been on Strattera now for a week and my dosage is 18mg, and it makes me feel ugh! If 18mg is a lot, then of course 40mg is a lot to start out with. I hope this somewhat makes sense and helps.
Its one of the stronger amounts but I don't think its A LOT. Im starting at 40 and tomorrow I start taking 80 so clearly it cant be too bad if im doubling it
Strattera comes in the following oral capsule dosages: 10, 18, 25, 40, 60, 80, and 100 mg. The dosage depends on your individual circumstances.

This depends heavily on who you get your insurance from, most insurance companies will cover it to an extent. However, Strattera is a newer drug and not yet available as a generic so you should expect to have to pay a large copay.
What will happen if I am off 36mg of strattera for 5 days till my grandson who is 10 gets a new refill from the doctor
Vyvanse. Stimulant. Abused a lot.

Sorry, but none trustful information has been found. I suppose that you can add about 10 mg of excipients which will totalize 25 mg. However, what matters is the active substance in a medicine.
Strattera (atomoxetine) can affect individuals differently; while some people may experience drowsiness or fatigue as a side effect, others may not. The 40 mg dosage is within the typical range for treating ADHD, but the response can vary based on individual factors like body chemistry and other medications. If you find that Strattera makes you sleepy, it's important to discuss this with your healthcare provider for potential adjustments or alternatives.
Hi. It's funny that you mention that. I never had any issues with my speech, but I find on 20 mg. of Strattera per day I find myself stuttering and slurring my words on occassion.
