Is it good to take a painkiller a day?

Painkillers are either addictive or can damage the liver over time. One a day isn't horrible, but if a pill a day is needed, then the condition causing the need for pain killers should be more thoroughly addressed.

There are many reasons why a person would want to take pain killers some less obvious than pain but I will assume you are referring to the individual who is in pain. There are lots of pain killers available under many different trade names the most common trade name for children is calpol which generic name is paracetamol. These "pain killing" drugs have different effectively with one of the most effective and widely used in hospitals: morphine To date there is not any hard evidence of a bad effect from the commonly used drugs but there are always side effects. paracetamol has a few.. It can cause liver problems as well as high blood pressure and a variety of other effects. but these side effects are very rare. Most drugs will have some very rare side effects. If you have any worries about your particular drug you are using the best person who can advise you is your local doctor. But in general any pain killer you take as long as you use it in the guidelines that are set and are in genuine pain, are practically harmless. But do not use for long periods of time.

If you have like temporary pain you can take Tylenol but anything else you have to ask your doctor.
