I personally have been using Sensodyne every night for 7 years. I have not noticed any side effects from using Sensodyne every night. I had very sensitive teeth and it is amazing how much the Sensodyne has helped. My Dentist is aware of me using the Sensodyne and doesn't seem to have a problem with it.
I started using Sensodyne after it was recommended by my dentist. My Asthma got much worse over a period of a few days so I stopped using it after which my asthma improved. I've tried several times, always with the same result. A quick search on Google reveals that other people also experience problems with asthma related to using this product. I wouldn't recommend asthmatics use Sensodyne.
