I started on 40mg for a week then took two pills after five days putting me up to 80 mg a day. Yikes, I am thinking now I am on a high does compared to your 25mg. I think Im going to stop it. Week two of this med and I feel irritable and angry. Negative and depressed. I also have insomnia. The only good thing about this med is that my appetitie has decreased a lot, but in the long run not worth the side effects that are bad. :(
take it mid-day for a day or two, then start taking it at night
I think it depends on the starting dose. I started at 40 mg. for 3 days, then went to 60 for 3 days and then to 80. This is what I am currently taking and have been for about a month.
Never stop your prescribed meds without consulting your doctor. If you are having unwanted side-effects you may just need your dosage lowered. Please don't "play doctor " with yourself. It can be dangerous.
I would consult your psychiatrist.
You can try taking one seroquel at bedtime instead of two, but check with your doctor first.
If you are not use to taking Strattera and especially if the drug is not prescribed for you, you will get high off of it. You should only take the drug under a doctor's direction.
I started taking strattera and I use to be a meth addict and I had a slip up, will Strattera show up as meth on a home urine test? PLease let me know ASAP!
I did it's all good
I nave had frequent nightmares while taking strattera... However, I haven't been sleepwalking.... But then again... Maybe I have....
Yes, 40mg of Strattera is a lot to start out with because you're body may not be able to handle that big of a dosage. I'm no doctor, but I've been on Strattera now for a week and my dosage is 18mg, and it makes me feel ugh! If 18mg is a lot, then of course 40mg is a lot to start out with. I hope this somewhat makes sense and helps. Its one of the stronger amounts but I don't think its A LOT. Im starting at 40 and tomorrow I start taking 80 so clearly it cant be too bad if im doubling it
Definately. When I was first put on Strattera, I noticed a huge difference in my energy level. I was fatigued and felt like I had no energy to do tough tasks. Don't worry though, after about a month, I quit experiencing this fatigue and was back to normal. I have been taking Strattera for 6 months now and for some time now have had no side effects from Strattera.
Yes, you can generally take Excedrin PM in the evening after taking Zyrtec in the morning, as there are no direct interactions between the two medications. However, it's important to consider your own health conditions and the total dosage of medications you are taking. Always consult with a healthcare professional if you have concerns or if you are taking other medications.
