I am wondering this same thing. I never slept well, being tired during the day and really awake at night. I have been taking Strattera for 6 days now (just upped from 18 -> 25mg yesterday) and I seem drowsy and heavily yawn during the day.
Answeri found that taking stattera around 2 pm, every 24 hrs, seems to work for me. that way i am not tired during the morning, i sleep at night and it helps through the "down time" of the day. Dani T AnswerI have also found that the afternoon is the ideal time to take Straterra. I began by taking it in the morning, but found that by the evening I was, while not incredibly so, more fatigued than I had been previously. If I take it 8-10 hours before I am ready to sleep, it is ideal.
AnswerI take strattera in the morning as soon a i wake up i have been taking it for roughly 2 months. You may seem very tired during the day at first, but as your body gets used to it the fatigue begins to ware off. I have always had trouble sleeping usually getting 4 hours a night and as long as I don't sleep during the day I can go strait to sleep. Good luck with the medicine! You can take anything with fluoxetine, but make sure not to get a "PM" formula because of the sleeping medication.
I've taken fluoxetine for years and I have severe asthma. I've noticed no effect at all.
Yes, fluoxetine should be capitalized as it is a proper noun referring to a specific medication.
No, but if you want, go see your docter
A doc just prescribed me both today. 50mg Fluoxetine in the morning, 50mg Sulpiride in the evening. Diagnosed with anxiety disorder, my main symptoms being hyperventilation. Hope that helps!
can i use chlordiazepoxide while using fluoxetine
No. Fluoxetine has no impact on drug testing.
Yes, lorazepam and fluoxetine can be taken together, but it should be done under the supervision of a healthcare provider. Lorazepam is a benzodiazepine that can help with anxiety, while fluoxetine is an SSRI used for depression and anxiety. Combining these medications may increase the risk of sedation and other side effects, so it's important to follow your doctor's guidance and report any unusual symptoms. Always consult with a healthcare professional before making any changes to your medication regimen.
The brand name for Fluoxetine is Prozac, Sarafem or Prozac.
It should be fine to take these medications together. If you have concerns or questions, you should check with your doctor or pharmacist.
I would seriously considering speaking to your doctor. I'm going to go ahead and assume that the overdose was an accident, but either way you should let your doctor know so that as he/she may help you. If fluoxetine was helpful prior to the overdose, it may indeed be helpful to restart it, when your physician believes that this is the right thing to do.
No, Fluoxetine is a generic form of Prozac which is used to treat depression.
