What are the Side effects of ALLEGRA?

I'm not a dentist but I am a doctor. I've had to use Alvogyl recently with more than one application for a long standing dry socket. I've asked numerous dentists and searched the internet for this answer. It seems that there are no known significant side effects except the possibility of delaying the overgrowth of new tissue over the dry socket to cover the exposed bone. It should therefore not be packed tightly in the socket - just enough to fill the space loosely. Hope this helps.

The following Allegra side effect report was submitted to FDA:

"Health Professional from UNITED STATES reported Allegra side effect on Jan 16, 2007. Female patient, 41 years of age, weighting 112.0 lb, was diagnosed with hypersensitivity and was treated with Allegra. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety, asthenia, dizziness , hyperhidrosis, hypoglycaemia. Allegra dosage: 180MG TAB ONCE A DAY"
