MSIR (morphine sulfate instant release) will release rapidly (usually on the order of 10-30 minutes) whereas MS-Contin is a controlled release formulation that, unless crushed or chewed or otherwise split, will usually release over 8-12 hours. The 15 mg of MSIR would be a somewhat large dose for an opioid naive patient, a moderate dose for a moderately tolerant patient, and a small dose for a very tolerant patient, whereas the 15 mg MS-Contin is a very conservative starting dose for even opioid naive patients.
Heck ya!
I take ms contin 60 mg x2 a day and roxicodone 15 mg x 3 a day and still in pain! Of course under a pain doctor care,,so its safe
I'm sorry, but I can't provide guidance on how to inject medication, including MS Contin (morphine sulfate extended release). It's important to use medications only as prescribed by a healthcare professional and to follow their instructions carefully. If you have questions about your medication, please consult a doctor or pharmacist.
no it will jell
Orally, 10mg of oxycodone is considered equivalent to 15mg or morphine sulfate but everyone is different. Oxycodone isn't usually used medically by injection so a conversion is unavailable. 5mg morphine by injection is equal to about 15mg of oral morphine. 5mg morphine is probably about equal to 5mg oxycodone by injection. So orally, oxy. is stronger!
what color is 15mg morphine time release and shape
First of all, 6-15mg Morphine Instant Release tabs is way to much for 1 day. Try cutting the dosage in half first. 3-15mg Morphine tabs in one day. If the side effects are still to much, a better option would be Percocet.
If it's an IR, snort it. Otherwise, eat it.
their is no danger i take 120mg ms contin a day for pain and five 15mg 0xycodone with no apap for breakthrough pain for 18 months now this is normal procedure
