Can Duloxetinecan aka Cymbalta cause kidney stones?

all I know is that I had never had any kind of kidney problem, but within 2-3 days of taking cymbalta just a couple of times (doc gave me a sample), I had my first kidney stones. I am convinced there was a connection, as Cymbalta does have urinary-related side effects.

What are the side effects of 90mg of Cymbalta compared to 60mg?

the answer to you questions is that people get the same side effects that they do on lower doses. I am a psychiatrist and has used cymbalta at 90mg and 120mg in very select patients. I only increase it over 60mg if the patient is having no side effects. If they start to have side effects at these higher doses, i have them lower the dose back to where they were. Those who were able to tolerate it felt better. Richard

How will Cymbalta affect you?

Cymbalta, or duloxetine, is an antidepressant that can help alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety by balancing neurotransmitters in the brain. Common side effects may include nausea, dry mouth, fatigue, or dizziness. While many people experience improvements in mood and overall well-being, individual reactions can vary, and it may take several weeks to notice its full effects. It's important to consult with a healthcare provider to monitor your response and any potential side effects.
