This is actually incorrect. Another member answered this question correctly:

I had this same question, and found a reference to INT with regards to IV access on this website:

I could not find it anywhere else!

It describes Peripheral IVs with INT in parentheses.

INT is the abbreviation for "intermittent needle therapy." This is when an IV catheter is inserted and capped off to be used at a later time for intravenous medication administration.
