What is the best medicine for a headic?

Tylenol and ibuprofen do nothing for either of us. Aleve is really more for muscular pain and I haven't found it effective for headache.

Excedrin is a combination of acetaminofen, aspirin, and caffeine, and is magic as far as we're concerned. It even works on my classic migraines. It makes the aura go away and the headache, if it does follow, is much dulled. The only problem with Excedrin is the caffeine so if it's after about 3:00, I'll take 3 aspirin instead.

We've tried warm and cool packs, darkened rooms, deep breathing, facial massage, etc., but if we take Excedrin, that's all we need. I can't remember it ever not working.
