Because of this, any cat with the tabby patterning can have a completely different personality to the next tabby cat. Answer "Maine coon" cats, which also have the stripey pattern, are wonderful pets. They are large, longhaired cats that are very personable and smart. Mine waits for me at the door when I come home, loves to play and also is a great lap cat.
