eScreen is the only instrumented FDA approved rapid immunoassay drug test used throughout the US by employers for screening employee drug use. The test utilizes monoclonal antibodies to various drugs of abuse. The assay contained within the lid of the eCup is initiated with the eCup with a urine specimen is placed in the eReader. This reader is connected to the internet and within minutes, interprets the results of the assay with the same accuracy as a laboratory based screen. If the screen is not negative, the sample is referred to a SAMHSA laboratory for confirmation by GC/MS.
