Yes you can snort Oxycontin but it is extemely dangerous. Last summer a 21 yr. old man in my city died this way. It goes into the bloodstream too fast and once it's there, there's no going back. I can't ask you enough to not do this.

When you snort an Oxycontin pill, the oxycodone, the drug in it that causes you to feel high, will surpass the time released coating and become instantly exposed in your blood stream. thus you feel funny, you feel this way because your brian produces endorphins that create feeling there is one known as dopamine you only get from drugs, sex and food, it travels from one synapse to another in your brain. a synapse is a repceptor and a dispersal mechanism that has a gap in between so you can feel the dopamine, well that euphoric state is a coating over the receiving end of the channel and causing a traffic jam of dopamine in your brain thus your high. afterwards the dopamine shoots into your receiving synapse and you "come down" depression in breathing and over all depression the feeling of anxiety and exaustion begin to surface and you sleep it off. now the tricky part is you never know how much it will take before your body says i don't want to work anymore and you die, and if you do it once it may be ok but trial number two you could die, and well its highly addictive.

The long-term effects of snorting OxyContin are similar to those of the short-term use, but more severe: loss of muscular control in the face causing paleness and change of complexion, constipation, sinus congestion/problems, general lethargy, and DEPENDENCY. After snorting oxy consecutively or regularly for about three weeks it will be very difficult to stop (and be progressively harder the longer you use) as you will likely experience WITHDRAWAL symptoms which include extreme fatigue, muscle/joint aches, hot and cold sweats, chills, irritation (you get irritated when you feel like crap), diaria, nausea and loss of appetite.
