I wouldn't say it's safe because you are talking about very powerful opiates here, but I dont know why you would take Demerol after you took 50mg of MEthadone because it will not really have any effect. Methadone has opiod inhibiting properties and will clog the receptors in your brain, therefore making the Demerol completely useless for the most part.
Absolutely NOT.
There are no adverse effects of taking vitamin B-12 with Methadone. My doctor administers my B-12 shots and I am on a Methadone prescription for pain.
You can take basically any of the popular over the counter medicines you want for a headache while taking methadone. Tylenol, Advil, Aspirin they are all safe to take while taking methadone. I made sure by contacting several pharmacist and asking. They all confirmed the safety of taking them together.
if you take Demerol you certainly will NOT need tylenol
It is not considered safe to taper off Methadone during a pregnancy due to the possible stress on the fetus. The studies have not conclusively proven that Methadone is toxic to a pregnancy. Any pregnancy that does taper off of Methadone must be done in-patient so that monitoring of the fetus can be performed. Please see the related link below for more information.
No!
Yes you can. It's much easier with Vicodin than say Morphine, however Vicodin is still an opiate and is therefore very strong and influencing. If one abuses the drug and/or takes it habitually, it will be harder to quit. I'd say it is comparable to marijuana perhaps, though with heavy use physical withdrawals can occur. Good luck.
THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT TAKING METHADONE WITHOUT A PRESCRIPTION FROM YOUR DOCTOR COULD MEAN DEATH FROM THE VERY FIRST TIME OR MILLIONTH TIME YOU'VE TAKEN IT, AS ONLY A DR WHO HAS BEEN TRAINED AND HAS QUALIFICATIONS TO TREAT PATIENCE WITH METHADONE CAN DETERMINE WHAT IS SAFE FOR YOU ...
YES, it is safe to take Mucinex while taking Methadone. I contacted a pharmacist to confirm that it is safe, because I needed to know the same thing. They told me it is safe but they wouldn't take them directly together. She said to wait like an hour or so between each medicine. Then she said that is a good rule of thumb for any medications that you are taking. So yes, you can take them together just wait an hour in between.
I think you'd be better off taking ibuprofen than Tylenol with Demerol, since Demerol is a combined drug that contains acetaminophen already. You should be careful of overdosing, or at the very least call your doctor to find out what a safe dose would be.

It is when used properly, according to medical advice.
