Nardil, or phenelzine, is a medication primarily used to treat depression, particularly in cases where other antidepressants have been ineffective. It belongs to a class of drugs known as monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), which work by increasing the levels of certain neurotransmitters in the brain, such as serotonin and norepinephrine. Some individuals may also take Nardil for anxiety disorders or social phobia, as it can help alleviate anxiety symptoms. Due to dietary restrictions and potential interactions with other medications, it is typically prescribed when other treatment options have failed.
Meclizine and Nardil are shown to have the potential to react with one another, usually on a minor basis. To be on the safe side, check with your doctor or pharmacist.

NO!! It was almost like a different medication prior to Sept. 2003 when Pfizer purchased it from Parke Davis. Many of the inactive ingredients were changed, coating now looks painted on as opposed to the hard shell M&M type coating and production was moved to France and not regulated by the FDA. Now one lot number will work okay and the next will be like a placebo. When the ingredients were changed it became ineffective for a great many people, some who had been taking it for over 30 years. Many are now unable to work and had to quit their jobs and go on disability because this is the only medication which would work for them, often labeled a Med. of last resort. Pfizer is directly responsible for placing these people on SSDI. Wish all our politicians knew about this before making judgement against those for whom the original Nardil was a life saver and now many have to resort to disability!
It depends on how skilled you are. For some people it takes an hour or less, but some people take days.
Because some people can get high on life!
