Benzyl alcohol is not typically tested for in interlock device tests, which are designed to detect the presence of alcohol, primarily ethanol, in a person's breath. Since benzyl alcohol has a different chemical structure and does not produce the same effects as ethanol, it is unlikely to cause a failure on an interlock device. However, if the interlock device is sensitive to other alcohols, there might be a possibility of a false positive, but this is uncommon. Always check specific device guidelines for accurate information.
Any amount, including that found in mouthwash, hand sanitiaers, etc.
just don't drink! they have zero tolerance and depending on how much alcohol you consume you may fail it the following day and it will lock your ignition.
Rubbing alcohol does not contain ethanol, which is what alcohol tests typically detect. Using rubbing alcohol on your hands should not cause you to fail an alcohol test.
That depends on who is doing the assessment, and why.
The device is not recognized.
No.
No. Red wine vinegar contains no alcohol.
No... the only thing that would make you fail a breathalyser - is if you have consumed alcohol !

Drinking denatured alcohol will cause you to fail two tests: an alcohol test and a sanity test. Denatured alcohol? Are you out of your MIND? The methanol in it WILL make you go blind. This is no hoax. This stuff will blind you, destroy your kidneys and ultimately kill you dead. For God's sake, man, if you are drinking denatured alcohol seek help right now.
A urine test for alcohol can detect alcohol if the person used mouthwash containing alcohol, ate any food containing alcohol, inhaled alcohol, used a hand sanitizer containing alcohol, had an injection site sterilized with alcohol, used alcohol on an injury, etc.
Well............I guess you can..........but you're going to fail.
