King Henry VIII became the supreme head of the Church of England. He created the English Church or the Church of England Anglicans. And ultimately became the head of the Church kind of like the Pope is the head of Catholic Church. He needed to do this to not have the approval of the Pope and divorce Catherine of Argon and marry Anne Boleyn

When Henry became Head of the Church in England, he confiscated property which had previously belonged to the Catholic Church. The wealth then became part of the Royal Treasury.

No according to the catholic church you should only marry once so if you try to marry again in Ireland in the catholic church they will not allow you to even if you were divorced in England.
It became known as Protestantism, leading to the founding of the Church of England.
The Pope prohibited Henry VIII a divorce; so he "divorced" the Roman Catholic Church and established the Church of England.
So he could divorse his wife and marry again Henry wanted to divorce his wife who was unable to bare him a son. The Pope would not allow the divorce. Henry started his own church, the Church of England and thus became the head of state and of the church he divorced catherine of aragon.
Fine legal difference- she was not divorced- her marriage to Henry was annulled (declared invalid, never happened) by the Church of England. Handily enough, King Henry had declared himself to be the head of the Church.

In the 1700s the official religion was Church of England after Henry 8th parted with Rome. The Queen or King is the head of this religion. The Anglican church became the official church of England and anyone who disagreed with the church faced persecution,or harassment
Yes. I have seen no suggestion that his divorce or remarriage is a problem. Henry VIII divorced and remarried several times. Please use capitals for names such as England. Actually, Henry VIII annulled his marriages - this is what led to the break of the English monarchy with the Catholic Church (the Pope would not approve his "annulments" ). The English then created the Church of England, of which the reigning monarch is the head. It is one of the tenets of the church of England that a divorced man or woman cannot be head of the Church of England. I'm sure they have thought of a way to get around this, but it is a problem.
