I just finished reading a play called "A Piece of My Heart" by Shirley Lauro. I didn't like it at all. But that's just my personal opinion.
It's 6 women, 1 man (to play all minor male roles). A minimalistic, 3-platform set. Could easily be done in any community theatre.
