Absolutely not. No one is prohibited from practicing their religion in the United States of America. However, there is currently a serious problem whereby certain groups use that phrase, losing freedom of religion, to describe their lack of freedom to impose their religious beliefs on others and thrust their personal religious beliefs into politics, government policies and civil laws. Those actions violate the religious rights of every American citizen.
Freedom of religion is about being able to make decisions about your personal worship. It is being free to choose who, and how, to worship. On a national level, it involves the freedom to establish religious organizations without government control and without the government sponsoring any particular religion. On a more personal level, it is about being free to interact, grow, and develop spiritually within a religious framework.
