Where did Billy Bishop train to be a pilot?

He probably qualified in England as he was considered an RAF officer, eventually rising to the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, Major for most of his fighting days. Bishop was the leading allied ace ( In world war I) with 72 Confirmed kills. ( The Red Baron had 8l). Highest ranking Yank ace was, of course Eddie Rickenbacker, Captain, USA, at I believe 26 confirmed kills in aerial battle. (The US was only in the war one year) Had they been in from l9l4, kill tallies would have been much larger. ) Only one US designed and made pursuit (Fighter) plane was used in the War, this being the Thomas Morse or ( Tommy Morse). Most American airmen flew French Spads or Nieuports with Yank Markings.
