Taliban is still their. We are working to train their soldiers to deal with the problem.
They didn't - they were a faction of Afgan rebel fighters already there.

To eliminate the Taliban that has controlled that country since the 1980's. Actually, the Taliban weren't the objective - Al Qaeda was. The US wasn't concerned about the Taliban until they harboured Bin Laden and refused to turn him over to the US.
The US invaded Taliban-controlled Afghanistan in 2001 with the purpose of acquiring Osama bin Laden and dismantling al-Qaeda after the Taliban government refused to do so.

because the taliban wants only men to be smart
In 2001, Afghanistan was ruled by the Taliban regime. The Taliban were good friends with al-Qaeda, Osama bin Laden's terrorist organization, and let them hang out in their country. After the 9/11 attacks, the U.S. demanded that the Taliban hand over al-Qaeda's leaders. The Taliban naturally refused, so the U.S. invaded to remove the Taliban from power.
The Taliban only invaded because Al Qaeda was based in Afghanistan. In fact, the Taliban never wanted war with the U.S., but Al Qaeda did, so they provoked us into invading with 9/11. So when we invaded, the Taliban had no choice but to fight us. In order to get the upper hand, we allied with the Northern Alliance (they're the current govt. in Afghanistan. Then the Taliban made themselves disappear for a few years (don't ask me how) and now they fight so they can gain control of Afghanistan.

The awesome country :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
After the terrorist group al-Qaeda claimed responsibility for the September 11th Attacks, the US Military invaded the country of Afghanistan with the mission to dismantle the terrorist organization. The US also stated its goal to remove the unstable Taliban Regime from power in Afghanistan in order to create a more viable democracy.
Iraq did no such thing. The attacks were carried out by an organization called the Taliban. This is a groupd of religious Muslim extreamest who kill in the name of their god. This is a rouge organization and is not hosted or supported by the country of Iraq. The Taliban's reason for attacking the towers was to bring death to the infidel (western civilization). Edit: I'm sorry to tell that also the Taliban did no such thing. The Taliban were and are a group of Muslim extremists, but they were reigning Afghanistan. The Attacks were in fact carried out by Members of the Al Qaida, a decentralised network of also Muslim extremists. When the USA invaded Afghanistan, their reason was that the Taliban gave home to Al Qaida members in their country, hence the misunderstanding.
