England got land taken away from them and some privelages
The Spanish Armada was planned for 1587, sailed on 28 May 1588, and fought in the English Channel from July 20 to August 8. Some survivors made it back to Spain by September 13, others as late as October after encountering storms off Ireland (and attacks by the Irish when they tried to seek provisions).
The Spanish Armada prepared for a land attack, but England had attacked them by naval forces.
The Spanish Armada made its disastrous foray against England in late July, 1588. After being delayed by a 1587 attack on Cadiz by Sir Francis Drake, the armada finally sailed from Lisbon, Portugal on May 28, 1588. It did not reach the English Channel until July 19. The first attacks by the British fleet occurred on July 21 and 23, with two Spanish ships colliding and being abandoned. Unwilling to attack without being able to land its invasion force, the armada docked at Calais in France on July 27. On July 28, British forces made a fireship attack at night, scattering the enemy vessels, who then lost 5 warships in the Battle of Gravelines the following day. Harassed by the British, and unable to pick up the waiting army, the surviving ships looped around Scotland and Ireland to the west, encountering fierce gales that wrecked many more ships.

The British saw that the spanish was claiming land for their country so the British defeated the Spanish armada and claimed rest of the americas
The Spanish armada is like Spain's Navy. A fleet of Battle ships who fought other countries' 'Navy' for land, power, money, etc.
The Spanish Armada, launched in 1588, was equipped with a variety of supplies essential for its naval campaign against England. This included provisions such as food and water for the crew, ammunition and gunpowder for the ships' cannons, and other necessary materials for repairs and maintenance. Additionally, the fleet carried soldiers and horses, as well as other military equipment intended for land engagements. The overall goal was to ensure the fleet could sustain itself during its mission to invade England.
England used it's new power to claim more land in the Americas.
After the defeat of the Spanish Armada in 1588, Elizabeth I rewarded her sailors and naval commanders with various honors and financial incentives. Many received monetary rewards, land grants, and titles, such as knighthood, recognizing their bravery and contributions to England's naval success. The Queen also celebrated their achievements through public ceremonies and parades, enhancing their status and fostering national pride. These rewards helped solidify loyalty among the navy and encouraged further naval endeavors.
Barely any , if not none as they wanted to try to land in Ireland because some of it was catholic and they thought that the may help the Spanish, but the seas were still very stormy and they were afraid of hitting the rocks/ or the English fleet catching them up.
England was fighting to prevent the Spanish ships moving their army to invade England.
