the angles and saxons weren't different people...so it was easy for them to convince each other...to merge....the reason why they joined together..is to defeat the roman legions that was so strong...that it's even impossible for them to bring them down...but luckily they were able to defeat the roman legions at 408 AD...that's all I know...for this time...I hope it helps and if there are other people who knows more...please help us hehe :)
