I don't believe the Flag stands for hate. It is just heritage of a people in Germany. It is just like the Confederate flag to Southerners in America.

Answer #2

The Nazis lived by a philosophy of hate, and the swastika flag was the symbol of Nazi party.

The swastika was origionally a religious symbol representing peace (origionated from India). However the Nazis got hold of the design and mutalated it in to something offensive. Although many find it offensive at heart its actually a religious symbol so its down to personal opinion.

What is the Nazi flag look like?

Nazi Germany's flag was composed of a red flag, a white disk, and a black swastika in the middle of the white disk. Hitler thought it important to keep the color scheme of the original German Empire's flag. Hermann Goering commented on the flag, saying, "The black, red, and white flag, while honoured, is the symbol of a bygone era."

Why does Germany not have the Nazi flag anymore?

The Nazi flag represents oppression and the killing of different groups of people. The flag may not have done those things but they remind people of them. It is illegal to fly the Nazi flag in Germany, or to display other Nazi symbols. When Germans were permitted to run their country again after occupation by the Allies wwas nominally ended, those who took control had been anti-Nazis, so they had no difficulty banning Nazi symbols as part of the process of assuring the victors that Germany would not do that again.

Did green and black stand for nazi colors?

No, green and black were not the official colors of the Nazi regime. The primary colors associated with the Nazis were red, white, and black, which were used in their flag and symbols. While certain paramilitary groups or factions may have used green or black in their uniforms, these colors are not emblematic of the Nazi party itself.
