Edward VI of England succeed Henry VIII (his father) at the age of 9. However, he had advisors such as his uncle (Edward Seymour). Edward's regin is probably most famous for the changes he made to the church, completely changing it from catholic to protestant. He died in 1553 of tuberculoisis at the age of 15.
That would be Edward I who was King of England in 1302. He reigned from 1272 to 1307.

Edward IV (FOURTH) didn't! He like all the Kings and Queens of England up until King Henry VIII were Roman Catholic! Edward VI (SIXTH) however did or attempted to change the national faith to a kind of extreme Protestantism. Under his sister Queen Mary I, the country changed back again to historical Roman Catholicism and it changed again under their final sister Elizabeth I, though her Protestantism was very moderate.
Edward VI of England did not personally kill anyone. He ruled from 1547 to 1553 and was known for being a sickly king who died at a young age.
Edward VI was succeeded by Mary I of England, his half-sister, upon his death in July 1553. Edward had attempted to prevent Mary's accession by designating Lady Jane Grey as his successor, but this plan failed, and Mary quickly took the throne. Her reign marked the return of Catholicism to England after Edward's Protestant reforms.
