Recently, the Alexander Hamilton Awareness (AHA!) Society has been holding annual events during July, as well as on his birthday on January 11th. This year they had a video connection from Hamilton's birthplace on the small island of Nevis in the Caribbean to his adopted home in NYC. Cakes were cut simultaneously by the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis as well as the 5th Great Grandson of Alexander Hamilton. Last July (2012), they held 15 events to "Celebrate Hamilton". There are many more events planned for this July 11-14 and July 26-28 in NY, NYC, and NJ. Hamilton's home in northern Manhattan in a National Park Site called "Hamilton Grange". It has just been relocated, renovated and re-opened.
