When Copies of the Declaration of Independence reached England, a civil war broke out. A number of Englishmen wanted their own freedom from King George. Men and supplies meant for America were diverted to put down the revolt. English armies also had to fight in Scotland and Ireland. Two Methodist Preachers, John Wesley and John Fletcher began writing sermons supporting Law and Order. The Methodist circuit riders preached them. Basically it was the Methodist Circuit Riders that put down the revolt. John Wesley's followers say that because of his circuit riders, England was spared the revolutions that spread across Europe. His critics say the same thing. King George offered John Wesley the position of Chancellor in the government and he offered John Fletcher the position of Prime Minister. Both turned him down.

King was frustrated because the English colony was the only colony who had a lot of rights and angry that they weren't appreciating his kindness.
How did the celtic people in Britain react to the viking invasion
Britain reacted to the Declaration of Rights, which emerged from the Glorious Revolution of 1688, by recognizing it as a legitimate expression of parliamentary sovereignty and the rights of citizens. The declaration led to the Bill of Rights in 1689, which established limits on the powers of the monarchy and affirmed certain civil liberties. This shift marked the beginning of constitutional monarchy in Britain, significantly curtailing royal authority and setting a precedent for future governance. Overall, it was seen as a crucial step in the evolution of British democracy.
Great Britain reacted to the proclamation of American neutrality in 1793 with skepticism and concern. They viewed the U.S. neutrality as potentially beneficial to France during the ongoing war between Britain and revolutionary France, which could undermine British interests. Consequently, Britain sought to assert its naval dominance, leading to the impressment of American sailors and the seizure of American ships, further straining relations between the two nations. This tension ultimately contributed to the War of 1812.
Loyalists were against the Declaration of Independence. They believed that America should be loyal to Britain. Many Loyalists simply left America. About 80,000 of them fled to Canada or Britain during or just after the war. Because Loyalists were often wealthy, educated, older, and Anglican, the American social fabric was altered by their departure.

For Americans, sure they are happy, but not so well in England.
Washington was impressed. He hoped that it inspired people(soldiers).-kayla
The reaction of a loyalist to the Declaration of Independence would have been that colonists do not have a right to simply declare their independence. Colonists are subjects of the crown, whether they agree or not. King George III rules by divine right. God save the king.
they were not happy so Abigail Adams told her husband to "remember the ladies". that's when they included them:)
