Whilst the Jews were in the ghettos they tried to get jobs in kitchens, so that if they were young some soildiers would pity them or get so fed up of them they would either kill them so they had no more suffering or would send them home which was good so that they could get back and help there families. They would hide for days and days and then sometimes people would try disguise themselves so that people would not know that they were Jews, so that they could just get out of the country and find somewhere else to live.
