We blacked our windows out with any dark coloured materials and turned as many lights off as we could, including streetlights, this meant that when the Germans flew over, they couldn't see what was below them so they didn't know if they were over England so they wouldn't bomb us :)

Did Dublin help the Germans bomb Liverpool by not having a blackout?

There is no evidence to suggest that Dublin intentionally helped the Germans bomb Liverpool by not implementing a blackout. The decision to implement blackout measures during World War II was primarily made by individual cities or countries based on their own strategic considerations. Dublin may have had its own reasons for not implementing a blackout, but it is not an indication of intentional cooperation with the Germans.
