The Federalists viewed the people as lesser than them and the people should not run the government. The Republicans viewed the people greatly like they should run the government.
Americans felt that a strong central government abusing its power was coming true . And the republicans looked to the states to preserve the people's liberties and stand up to what they regarded as federalist tyranny .
they disagreed with thomas because federalist wanted to build a stronger more controlling government.....when thomas a democratic republican(nothing like republicans today.) wanted to keep the constitution in control and the freedom to the people.
Your mother.
anti federalist are people who are against the constitution and federalist are people who want the constitution
At first the federal government was made up of ordinary people, who represented the rest of the ordinary people. Today you need to either be rich, have some friends with a lot of money, or have a lot of friends with some money.
The representatives said that the elected officials ruled in the people's name. (the Federalists also agreed with that)

Yes, there are also republicans and antifederalists

The Federalists believed that the wealthy should be in control and they believed in a more centralized government, while the Democratic-Republicans believed that the common people should have more control and had more reliance on the agriculture in their areas.
In the 1790's Alexander Hamilton and the Federalist Party favored a strong centralized federal government and wanted the individual states to ratify the constitution, even though it meant the states had to give up some of their powers to the federal government.

There was never a year for one major party in the United States. Examples in 1787 there were the Federalist, later to become the Democrat's, and the Anti-Federalists, later to become the Republicans. The Federalist's (now known as Democrats) believe in a strong 'central government', a government that holds the power and rights to give down to the people, as well as were for the 'central bank'. The Anti-Federalist's (now known as Republicans) believe in a rights to the states, a government that the power comes from the people through the states to the federal government, and were against a 'central bank'. There were many times that one party held both the legislative and executive branches most recently where the Obama Administration 2008-2010, Bush administration 2004-2006

There weren't political parties when the Constitution was written. There were different opinions thus the Federalist and Anti -Federalist which worried people a lot because conflict in the government was seen negatively. Unlike now where we expect our Democrats and Republicans to fight, people excepted our officials to work together and get along. The main reason for political parties not existing was because President Washington was largely against political parties because he believed they would lead to the downfall and destruction of our country.
I agree with the federalists because they are supporting the government. On the other hand, why agree with people who are going against government matters? The federalists are sticking up for what is right and for what we need. That's a great way to repay them for standing by our side
