To Fight, or stand up for their hill. To Run the British out of the colinies, or more specifically Boston.

The rebel American army took position on breeds hill near Boston on June 16th, 1775. they also intended to take neighboring Bunker Hill. The Brittish however attacked on June 17th, 1775 before these plans were completed. Although the resulting battle was for Bunker hill, the fighting took place on breeds hill. the name of the battle has come down to us as the battle of bunker hill.
