Filipino and US Rangers worked together in freeing US and Filipino POW's at Cabanatuan and at Los Banos. Many Filipinos risked their lives for lives for Americans during the Bataan death march. The Camp O' Donnel Memorial in Cabanatuan is beautifully kept up and the American Cemetery in Manila is beautifully maintained....the Philippines were granted their independence in 1946.
