Early days of aviation, airports used a rotating light or beacon, a lot like a light house. This was useful to locate an airport at night. When the radio came into use, airports sent out a radio beacon that sent out a signal that was aligned with the direction of its runways. A receiver on the airplane could detect the beacon and fly to the airport and be in the right position to land. Now, airplanes fly by computers that track them using GPS. The pilot enters the position of the airport destination and the computer can tell him which direction to fly. Of course, the pilot has to get permission to fly certain routes from the Air Traffic Controller. That is why a pilot files a flight plan and lets the ATC know the route he plans to take.
want to know
Some know how to fly planes because they are finished training but others have to go to flight school because they are new. Lots of pilots know how fly planes but others will learn how to fly.
daily life by killing them wiyth the coldness warfare by having planes fly and trade by land
Yes but these military planes are flown by navy pilots or military pilots.
i don't know but don't call me mad!!!!!!
want to know
RUNWAY
No because the air around the plane has pressure. If two planes take off at the same time the planes will crash. The planes might crash if they land at the same time.
Planes cannot land straight up and down
Planes can land on airfields normally. Specifically on a runway. However some planes can land on water. FloAt planes for example. Others can land on snow if they equipped with skis and still other may land on unprepared surfaces like tundra when they are equipped with big tires that prevent them from sinking into the muck. There are many formal and informal airports around the world both on land, water and the stuff in between.
A float plane is a type of seaplane. Float planes land on extended floats like a normal airplanes landing gear, as opposed to boat-hulled sea planes. Float planes are usually land airplanes which have been converted to land on water, although some aircraft are specially designed for this purpose. Some aircraft like the Cessna Caravan are available in float-plane configuration straight from the factory, but most float-planes are modified land-planes. Float planes may or may not have the ability to extend wheels from their floats to land on land. It is a common feature, but not all float planes are so equipped.
No airplanes can land in an airport. They land on the runway.
In Jeddah Saudi Arabia
Pontoon planes
In an airport...

I think because they land Romania is not a good land ?? The number of planes over Romania is normal and not so great.
