and use a level 3 or higher weapon(weapon levels are determined by fortifying your weapon with a level 3 or higher energy stone 3 times depending on how many failures you've had with the stones.
when your weapon reaches level 3, get your energy stone(which is most likely to be aquired from a task which is leveling up a weapon to level 3 and is a accurate lvl 1 offense pearl)and take it to the DECORATE panel of the armory and place your weapon/piece of clothing in the middle in the spot where it says:Equipment.
then place yor offense pearl in the hole above it. then click the button.
it should be a success and depending on the percentage of the effect, it will be appied without notice
